A school district finally consolidates its facilities to one campus with 1,000 seat gym and a new Early Childhood Center.

Newkirk Public Schools had moved their high school campus about a mile from their historical high school building, but the varsity gymnasium was still at the old campus. The school was consolidating the district to one campus, but they lacked a gymnasium and an early childhood center to do so. They hired TriArch to help them pass their bond, and we designed a 1,000 seat gymnasium and an early childhood center with 6 large classrooms and a media center. The gym doubled as a storm shelter for over 1,000 people, while the ECC has a storm shelter in it for more than 400 children.

By combining the functionality of a gym and classrooms with storm shelters, the school was also able to get FEMA funding to add to the bond money. TriArch helped with both the bond issue and the FEMA grant process.
