The Cherokee Nation reproduces their past for a pavilion on their capitol grounds.

The Cherokee Nation hired TriArch to design a new plaza and pavilion that pulls its design cues from their first meeting place in the 18th century. The tribe had a painting from that era that showed the original structure, but no other record is available about the dimensions or materials. TriArch painstakingly analyzed the painting with computer algorithms to come up with likely dimensions. The result is a pavilion structure built on the capitol grounds that serves as a covered meeting space for the Cherokee annual holiday as well as other events throughout the year.
